Effects of Pandan Wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb) Leaf Extracts on Chocolate Stem Nymphs (Nilaparvata lugens Stal) as Natural Insecticide. Indonesia is one of the problems in an agricultural commodity, namely in the problems in rice crop production caused by WBC pests. In the use of synthetic insecticides it still causes resistance to WBC, so that the productivity of farmers decreases. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the fragrant pandan leaf extract against the brown planthopper nymph (Nilaparvata lugens Stal) as a natural insecticide. This research method is experimental post test only control group design. 450 instir nymph nilapar nugarvata lugens were used which were divided into 5 test groups with 3 replications. As the test material is pandanus fragrant leaf extract with a concentration of 10, 30, 50, 70 and 80 mg / mL. Data was obtained from counting the number of nymphs that died 24 hours after the treatment stated with Lethal Concentration 50% (LC50%). LC50 values were obtained with the highest results at a concentration of 80mg / mL which reached 100% and at a concentration of 50mg / mL the results were already more than half the LC50. And in the second replication in a concentration of 30 mg / mL it reaches half of LC50. So that the resulting LC50 value is an average of 35.85 mg / mL, where an extract is said to be effective as a natural insecticide if LC50<25% or 250 mg / mL. So that it can be used in the development of agricultural science to use natural insecticides from fragrant pandan leaves.
